My clay sculptures

My clay sculptures, with their geometric design and complementary colours study, are inspired by ancient civilizations, Egyptian, Sumerian, Persian, including the Sàmi culture. By using complementary colours, they aim to evoke visual perception in an almost ritualistic manner.

Pseti

Sam

A terracotta mask inspired by the Sámi tradition, a nomadic people of northern Finland. Painted with sami colours, the mask is adorned with patterns and symbols reflecting the deep connection between Sámi culture and the Arctic wilderness

Sun Ambassador

Crafted from terracotta, this mask embodies the essence of the Sun Ambassador. The surface resembles sun-baked earth, with textures that echo ancient wisdom. Painted in striking hues of gold, blue and red. This mask is a portal to an ancient realm where the sun speaks through its chosen emissary

Moonmask

Crafted from terracotta, the "Moon Mask" embodies the serene essence of lunar beauty. Its surface is smooth and polished, reminiscent of moonlight, with hues of silver and blue-grey to glimmer with ancient nocturnal wisdom. This mask is a true masterpiece of lunar mystery.

Lotus

Wolden

A sculpture crafted from small wooden sticks, collected from a Finnish forest, bound with natural twine, with woollen threads intricately interwoven, all without the use of glue or nails. It's a rustic, organic creation, full of natural charm.
